screw up day
its e worst monday i ever experienced.
first i was late for e interview at police hq. no thanks to e taxi driver. told him police hq at phoenix park at novena there. n he drove me to police academy which is at thomson. thn nex, he drove me to internal security department. n was questioned by e guards for a couple of minutes. n i wonder is my pic taken down n scanned thru their database or m i being watched now? either way, i did make it to police hq in e end. 15mins late. thanks huh uncle...
e next thing. when i alighted, i left my damn phone in e cab without realising it. damn it. n i only realise i lost it in e afternoon. n by that time. its too damn bloody late. phone is switched off....juz feel like killing someone...
anyway, e interview was quite alright. definately thn e one at cmpb which was crap. e last part of e interview was e physco test. it looks more like mensa+sat test. questions r really nerve wrecking....anyway, i did complete it faster than e rest.
so after e interview, i rushed off back home to call up starhub to suspend my line, n went dwn to starhub to collect my sim card. intended to get a phone there, but e Q was too long..so came back to toa payoh only to find out e phone i wanted is out of stock. n poor me. have to make my way all e way back to PS to get my phone. n in e end, waited for close to 2hrs to my turn. got e phone left e place a slightly happy man.
long e way while waiting, i found time to go over to motorola for a job interview. it was immediate n i m hired on e spot. i wonder y m i always hired on e spot....interesting. anyway, its a $6 an hour job. doing customer service officer...dealing with ppl coming up with spoilt phones asking for repairs..not a bad job, considering i have been in customer service line for so many jobs: planet hollywood, breeks, selling shoes, golden village. i wld say, ya. i know n i have my unique way of handling demanding customers. n i will b starting work next week.
